“False evidence appearing real”

You either face the circumstances in your life and run or face up to them and rise. Fear stops us from doing the plans of God and it also makes us feel as though were not created to do all the unimaginable things. We forget that we have a maker and that our lives is in his hands. Fear causes us to doubt which also means that we doubt the power of God to do the most amazing things in our lives. Moreover, doubting our faith in Jesus Christ. The only thing we should fear is God and not man… speaking of, our friends, co-workers, families and so on. We are afraid of being fired from a job, we’re afraid of our future and more or less afraid of getting out of our comfort zones. As Christians one of the important things that Christ would love us to do is to come out of our comfort zones. We are too comfortable in doing the same things, hence why our lives are not moving anywhere. This is where a comfort zone will lie to you and tell you to sit down, and wait on God to work out things for you, when really we should also be the ones moving to increase his glory for his names sake and not for own.

There are always large mountains of negative situations in our lives and we are afraid of facing up to them. We need to take a step back, a deep breath and remind our problems that our God is greater. Not to say that we should ignore it but to say that everything will be okay and there is no need to worry or be afraid. Fear brings overthinking…have you ever laid in your bed one night and over analysed a situation that happened a year ago? Overthinking should never be part of our thoughts, as it can ruin our emotions and our walk with Christ. Overthinking will only make you concentrate on the past, when we know that old things have passed and there are better and new things to come in our future. There should be no room of the past in your minds. (Isaiah 43:18-19) Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth.

Fear means that you only have the lack of trust and faith in Jesus. If we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we know that everything with Jesus is possible. He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you (Matthew 17:20)

Fear is very easy to have but we must never forget that we serve a loving God that casts our fear just because he has perfect love. He never made us to live a bad life but he didn’t exempt us from suffering. From personal experiences, I know that without all that I’ve suffered, I wouldn’t be the character that I am today. Strong, faithful to God and obedient to his word. My pain has made me need God more and more each day of my life. I am glad to have suffered. (Romans 5:3-5)But not only that! We even take pride in our problems, because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope. This hope doesn’t put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

(Isaiah 41:10) Don’t fear, because I am with you; don’t be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will surely help you, I will hold you, with my righteous strong hand.

Don’t fear, trust God, he knew you before you were in your mother’s womb, he loves you.

God bless.
