What does the Bible say about abortion?

Psalm 139:13-16 says: or you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
An abortionist has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for operating an abortion clinic that provided late term abortions. This behaviour is shocking and is not allowed in the eyes of our Lord!
LifeNews.com has reported that abortionist Carlos Morín has been under investigation for many years, but was finally convicted. The poor innocent people who have had their lives taken from them is wrong, please let’s try and discourage this act!
Morín ran an abortion clinic in Spain that catered especially to British women, charging them sky-high prices for late-term abortions. He was carrying out immoral and unfair abortions for women, who were vulnerable and confused yet endured this disgusting treatment.
Morín was eventually prosecuted in the following way:
Morín’s Ginemedex clinic admitted to offering unfair abortions for women as late as 30-weeks pregnant. It was illegal what he was doing. In the British law the limit is 24 weeks without medical justification and under Spanish law it’s 22 weeks.
Healthy foetuses have been aborted, it has been filmed and the audio has been captured. It is disgraceful.
The convicted man even had machines to grind foetuses that were connected to drains, in bid to gain enormous profits from his work. Women were charged way over the normal amount, as much as $4,300 for some women for an abortion.
Psalm 127:3-5 says: Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.
Let’s work together to continue to expose any disgraceful behaviour and God may be with those poor women who were under this pressure, charged immorally and who experienced the confusion of accepting an abortion, as in the eyes of our Lord, abortion should not be encouraged or an option. All life ought to be respected, cherished, loved and utterly appreciated.
